Kennel to Couch Partners with Tito's Handmade Vodka! - Kennel to Couch

Kennel to Couch is toasting a glass to Tito’s Handmade Vodka. We are excited to announce Tito’s as one of our community partners who is supporting us with donations and materials. Tito’s started it’s Vodka for Dog People to rescue and protect the animals that have come into our lives, many of whom now thrive alongside us at our distillery and office. The vision of Tito’s Vodka for Dog People program is to better the lives of pets and their families far and wide.

According to their website, an important part of the story at Tito’s Handmade Vodka is “the innate connection [they] have with our canine counterparts.” The company not only sells top notch vodka, but their website offers dog bowls too. Proceeds go to the organizations listed on their web store.

When Tito Beveridge started making vodka at the Mockingbird Distillery in Austin, Texas, his pup DogJo was by his side through the journey. When stray dogs began to show up around the distillery, Tito new what he had to do. He headed to Emancipet, a non-profit veterinary care system that provides low-cost care for dogs and cats. The non-profit started offering their low-cost neuter, spay and wellness services out of a mobile trailer, but has since expanded their centers across Austin, Pflugerville, Killeen, and Houston, Texas.

The Tito’s and Emancipet friendship was born to benefit pets and their families that otherwise might not be able to afford treatment and healthcare. Team Tito’s makes it a priority to provide furever homes for pets, just as Kennel to Couch, the Pitbull Non-Profit group that teams with shelters and community partners to remove “at risk” Pit Bulls from shelters and provide the support and incentives needed to encourage the adoption of sponsored Pitties. K2C couldn’t be more excited and proud to be partnered with Tito’s and work together towards a mission of happy and healthy dogs everywhere!
