Our Partner Shelters
Support Pit Bull Rescues!
The importance of our community partners cannot be overstated. We are so appreciative of the support we receive from the shelters and businesses that allow us to make a difference in the lives of these furry friends and the families that take them home.
Our partner shelters keep our tails wagging
Kennel to Couch works diligently to continuously expand our partner shelter network to help get as many doggos sponsored and adopted as possible.
Shelter Partners
Butte Humane Society – California
Kennel to Couch is excited to announce it’s first shelter expansion due to the generosity of a corporate partnership! Through our partnership with Inspire Nutrition, we are now able to provide our support to thier chosen shelter, the Butte Humane Society!
The Butte Humane Society is one of the oldest non-profit agencies in Butte County, California, working since 1911 to bring humanitarian care to dogs, cats and other animals. They are a Limited Admission shelter that strives to make their animals as comfortable as possible during their stay with them.
Coming Soon – Georgia
Kennel to Couch has Georgia on it’s mind, we hope to announce expansion to The Peach State soon!
Harford County Humane Society – Maryland
Kennel to Couch is excited to partner with our FIRST animal shelter, the Humane Society of Harford County. We work directly with their staff to identify Pit Bulls most in need of adoption, so we can assist that process. The Humane Society of Harford County is dedicated to the welfare and well-being of the approximately 3,500 animals that come to them each year.
The Hero Rescue – Maryland
Kennel to Couch is excited to partner with our SECOND animal shelter! The Hero Rescue is formed by a network of volunteers and fosters committed to saving lives of animals at risk of euthanasia. By relocating animals from over crowded shelters to Maryland for adequate veterinary care, castration, emotional rehabilitation and eventually adoption, we will make a difference in the lives of animals as well as in the local communities we serve .
Bitter Root Humane Association – Montana
Kennel to Couch has expanded to Big Sky Country! The Bitter Root Humane Association was formed in 1972 by a group of local animal lovers, serving as a home for countless animals for over 35 years. During that time, the shelter also housed hundreds of animals during the major wildfires of 2000 through 2016. In March of 2020, after over a decade of fundraising efforts, construction began on a new, modern shelter which opened to the public in July 2021. We are proud to say, we have no time or space limits to finding the perfect home for our “guests”!
Friends For Life – Texas
Kennel to Couch would like to announce that “HOUSTON, we do NOT have a problem!” We are proud to say that we are now partnered wit Houston’s only true no-kill shelter, Friends For Life. At Friends For Life, every animal matters. Founded in 2002, Friends For Life introduced the no-kill shelter model to Houston – saving animals regardless of their breed, age or condition.
