Pit Bull Adoption
Sponsorship cannot happen without you! Our Pit Bulls rely on generous donations from individuals like you, who share our love and passion for the breed. Your donations, small and large, help us sponsor as many furry friends as possible. Your support is what allows us to expand the amount of shelters we partner with and increase the number of sponsored Pit Bulls and Pit Bull Adoptions!
How do we use donations? One time donations allow us to sponsor and advertise the individual Pit Bull that has been at the shelter longest!
Monthly donations allow us to work towards adding additional shelters to our program and expand our organization! We have a dream of one day being able to help Pibbles in every state.

When our sponsored Pit Bulls finally find their furever home, our community partners help us provide an ever-expanding support package to the adopting families. While professional training support is the core of our package, we are always working with our community to expand our support, including adding benefits such as veterinary services and discounts at retail stores.

Meet Miami! Originally from Southern California, this 3-year-old gal made her way to Chico after a good samaritan found out she was scheduled to be euthanized. That gentleman paid for transportation to his home here in Butte County but because his health declined he was no longer able to care for her and brought her to Butte Humane Society for a fresh new start. Miami’s enthusiasm for life is contagious! She adores belly rubs, lives for affectionate moments with her person, and when the mood strikes, she’ll break out into her daily dose of zoomies just to keep things exciting. She would thrive in a loving family setting but prefers to be the only pet in the home. After all, she wants all the snuggles and attention for herself! Here are just a few ways our staff would describe Miami: Affectionate, Loving, Hops of joy, Loves belly rubs, Only pet household, Potty trained, Playful, Snuggle Bug. Miami wants to trade emotional support with you as soon as possible! All animals adopted from Butte Humane Society are evaluated by a veterinarian, spayed or neutered, provided with vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, and receive heartworm, flea/tick preventatives prior to adoption.

Meet Ranger – Your Adventure Buddy in the Making!
Ranger is a 1-year-old pittie mix with a heart full of love and a future bursting with potential! This handsome guy just graduated from a 30-day professional training boot camp, and he’s ready to show off all the good boy skills he’s learned.
Ranger is a smart cookie and a total people-pleaser. He catches on quickly and loves having a job to do – especially if it comes with praise or treats! He’s got energy to spare and is happiest when playing with other dogs who enjoy a good, goofy, full-body wrestling match.
But don’t worry, Ranger isn’t all action. He also knows how to wind down and soak up the sun like a pro. Whether it’s romping in the yard or snoozing on the porch, he’s the perfect mix of playful and chill.
Ranger is looking for a home that will continue his training, give him plenty of playtime, and love him for the sweet, silly boy he is. Could you be his person?

There is nothing cold about this Snowflake – she is as affectionate, playful, and cuddly as can be. Once you meet her, she will melt your heart like no other snowflake can do!
